Terrifying Terrain

More castle terrain finished for my Vampire Lord to lurk around!

 Will be using it when hosting local club Age of Sigmar campaign nights.
 It's all GW, some is older stuff  and out of production,
for now at least... (Witchfate Tor, Deathwatch Knell)

 Skullvane Manse has been re-released as Warscryer Citadel.

 And there's some cemetery stuff here and there from the Mausoleum set.

The Revenant - Painting WIP

The Revenant - Rusty Hull

Work begins on painting the hull underlayers of the Wraithfleet ship.
I used a scorched brown base, then blended in ochres and oranges.
Some airbrushing, some layering by brush and very soft drybrushing.
Chestnut/sepia inks also handy for creating variables.

A project for an upcoming Age of Sigmar 'Firestorm' grand campaign.

This was a 3 day build. It uses a number of Games Workshop citadel kits.
Now to start painting, and breathe some 'unlife' into the cursed thing 💀

Dire Wolves

Converted the heads of the Games Workshop Dire Wolf models recently. A few cuts, some drilling and filling and they look like these:

The vampire Countess Von Ravenstein rides out on the hunt with her pack of Dire Wolves. The wolves are constantly plagued by the large, vicious carrion crows that haunt the castle, that peck out their eyeballs and pick at their flesh when they are idle, sat by the portcullis kennels at the main gate... but the Direwolves need only the scent of living prey and they track it down tirelessly for their mistress.

Vargheist Vampires

Resurrected some second hand Vargheists, stripped, rebuilt, painted and added to my Death Alliance Path to Glory force. My Vampire Lord Theresa Von Ravenstein's power grows ever stronger as she scours the land thirsting for vengeance.

Terrorgheist

Mortimer Ravenstein, my vampires Terrorgheist pet complete, with a nice rocky perch to pounce from.

'Great Uncle Siegfried' Varghulf, painted and based, ready to guard his nefarious niece as she battles across the realms with her growing undead hoard.

Skinwolves

Lord Jagi and his brother Raou have 3 new warriors for their warband.

The Werewolf conversions were intended for use in a fantasy undead

army that sold to an American collector long before the add on

werewolf project was completed.

For 3 years the werewolves sat in my cabinet without any paint..

until Age of Sigmar and my decision to start a Khorne mortal army.

I rebased them on to rounds and using the Forgeworld rules for chaos

skinwolves they make a cool addition to the growing collection.
